Now that the 700 billion dollar Wall Street bailout, likely heading into the trillions, has failed so miserabely, and everyone is in the toliet, except Wall Street. What now?
I know it is a little late for my proposal back in 2008, just before we pulled the trigger, but now years later I heard for the first time on CNBC a serious discussion on weather we should have, maybe trickled down. Instead of giving our tax money to Wall Street and the privledged morons who screwed everything up, Why not give it to us, the people.
The housing market which is at the heart of every American family has been destroyed, with no fix in sight, and the economy is in shambles. More American families go down daily. Over 25% of all homes are underwater. Some states that number is well over 50%. The fault is squarely on Wall Street with their insatiable appetite, for money and greed. They have fought for years and have received less goverment regulation and oversight instead of more, from the goverment they own anyway.
I know it's hard to imagine my proposal, way back when, and although controversal, here is how it could have worked. As I have said before instead of giving the money to the iddiots who got us here, the people would have been given the relief instead.
Although these numbers are arbitrary, and I wouldn't want to be the one to set the monetary amounts, in theory I believe it could have worked. I call it the Peoples Bailout Plan.
Lets say the average American family with a home, would receive a 100 thousand dollar credit, or maybe a percentage of their homes worth, reguardless their would be strings attached. 90% of that money would have to go toward verifiable debt, starting with their home mortgage. The banks would get their bailout, thru us, the homeowner, and we would have secured our biggest asset, our homes. Almost no one would be underwater, and the housing market, and the economy would not have collapsed. In fact it would have flourished. It would be fair to say the rich, would be excluded from this process, they just don't need the relief.
If you had no debt, or didn't use all your, let's call it relief money, you could put it in your pocket. Dinner and a movie would be nice. Our economy would have gone on boldly, while we took the time to address the Wall Street debacle, as we're trying to do now. If you wern't a home owner, I would pity the economist who was tasked to figure out a fair system for everyone else. Although I'm sure it would not have been perfect, the Wall Street bailout with their 600,000 dollar bonuses, was not either. In fact the Wall Street bailout was the stupidest thing we could have ever done. The American family lost, the economy lost, the country lost, everyone lost but Wall Street and the dumb shits who fucked everything up.
Can you imagine where we might be today, if the bailout had gone to the people, instead of Wall Street?
Oh by the way the expiration of the Bush tax cuts on the rich, along with the closing of Corporate tax loop holes, and to hold Corporations responsible to pay their fair share of taxes, would have paid for it all. Any questions?

Occupy Wall Street - 99ers
FROM OCCUPY WALL STREET ORLANDO 10-15-11
I just got back from the Occupy Wall Street rally and March in Orlando, Florida where I had the privilege to speak. Everyone was in great spirits and it was a peaceful event. We all know the world wide protest is only gaining strength and growing stronger. If Wall Street is not worried now, they should be. They must conform or they will fall. We have had enough with the bailouts. We have had enough with their $600K bonuses paid for with our tax dollars. We have had enough with the corporations always fighting against the EPA and We The People for the basic right to clean air and clean water. The continuing contamination from mining coal and drilling for oil on our lands, into our waters, onto our beaches and then into our air from the burning of fossil fuels, is destroying our world. There is talk now from Perry and others to open up Federal Lands to the oil and coal companies to rake and pillage as they always do. Sensitive areas like The Arctic Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) in Alaska, off the coast of Florida DUH! Even the Everglades are being considered. WE SAY NO MORE! We need less oil and coal, not more. We need GREEN ENERGY NOW! Wall Street and Big Oil propaganda tout the jobs oil will bring but it pales the jobs Green Energy has to offer. We have had enough of their puppets in Congress who always support Wall Street over the common folks, the 99ers. While most of Congress takes their marching orders from Wall Street (The Industrial Growth Complex IGC) there are a few who are true public servants. We must sweep the ones out of office whose allegiance is always to Wall Street instead of the people. Corporations are not people. If we can rid Congress of this blight it will be like cutting the head off the snake. Wall Street cannot continue with their destructive ways – greed and corruption without their Congressional puppets to always get their agendas through.
With misinformation and propaganda Wall Street has been successful in fooling many people on many issues. One issue we continually hear is how this country is heading down the road towards socialism. When we know social programs have always been a positive part of our Democratic republic. The real fear is and should be fascism, where the corporations run the country. You know – like ours.
We might never have a better chance to reform Wall Street (IGC) and it will not be easy. Money can no longer be their god and ours. Their profits can no longer be at the cost of everyone and every living thing. We must close all corporate tax loop holes and the corporations and the rich must pay their fair share. Big businesses with their record profits have never been in a better position to expand and hire yet they say they need more deregulation and environmental rollback before they can move ahead. This is what we must change – Wall Street and money – Wall Street and greed. If this government rolls back our environmental laws and lets Wall Street continue to run the show with less regulation instead of more, the Occupy Wall Street movement, the 99ers will only swell and even more good men and women will come forward to fight the oppressors.
Big business says if we close their corporate tax loopholes, and we will, they will move their jobs overseas. Oh way a minute – they already have! The fact is as long as money and greed is Wall Streets highest priority they will never move the jobs back here until the American worker is willing to work for $10 a day. In my opinion any American company who ships jobs overseas merely for more profits should be taxed at the highest rate allowed. They should be given no quarter. If they don’t like that, let them leave – we don’t need them- others will fill the void. We demand a Public Option and Prescription Drug Relief to break the strangle hold the Insurance and Pharmaceutical Companies have on us.
I’m not saying Wall Street shouldn’t prosper - they will. We want them to. But they must be held to a higher standard and held accountable to the EPA and our environmental laws that we the people demand.
The Wall Street collapse was due largely because the fox was guarding the henhouse. This is what happens when puppet politicians are in bed with the corporations and their cronies like the Koch brothers and the Americans for prosperity (AFP). Even though taxes have not been this low in fifty years they want more tax cuts and less government regulation. This must not happen. We will not allow Wall Street to dictate to us any longer. We can no longer go down the same roads as before. Global Warming is real. Fossil fuels are the cause. As I’ve said before they will not go lightly there only concern is more money. For them to change from Fossil Fuels to Green Energy would be a huge inconvenience. Their money making Machine would surely slow. They would suffer, but so would we, but I believe the people, many with ties to Wall Street with money accounts and 401ks are willing for a little less money and a lot more of everything else, including a healthy planet. Green energy is at our fingertips. We cannot afford to let it slip away. We and this World can no longer waste any more time. Todays Wall Street with their money and greed impede the freedoms for the average man and woman to succeed. They will always pay you less than more, or no job at all. The Banks and their credit cards will always squeeze us until we’re dry, with their hiddrn fees, abusive terms and deceptive practices. The philosophy of Wall Street is always more. At all cost. WE SAY NO MORE! We must keep the pressure on Wall Street to change. We will fight to rid the puppet politicians who serve Wall Street and the 1% over the People. We can see the men behind the curtain. We may never have a better chance to take them down.

SOME OF THE OCCUPY WALL STREET POINTS
1. We demand Congress represent the people not Wall Street.
2. We demand Green Energy NOW! Fossil fuels must go. We must break the strangle hold the coal and oil companies have on us and move into the 21st century with clean green energy.
3. We demand our environmental laws to be respected and enforced. Wall Street must pay to clean up and maintain the quality of our land and water, they have fouled. This is a priority.
4. We want Wall Street to accept the fact they might not always have a better quarter, that with profits come responsibilities to the workers for a decent wage and quality of life and to the public as a whole.
5. We demand a world where money and greed is not our God but a sustainable and healthy world is.
6. We want a public option and prescription drug relieve to break the stranglehold the insurance companies have on us.
7. We want to close all the corporate tax loopholes and make the corporations and the rich pay their fair share in taxes.
8. We want strong government regulations and oversight to prevent another Wall Street collapse.
9. We want all the crooks on Wall Street prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
10. We want the banks and credit card companies to release the chokehold they have on us with there hidded fees, abuivse terms and deceptive practices.
11. We want unfair subsidies for the oil and coal companies and corporate farms to be recalled.
12. We must change our perception where profits are not the end to all means, quality of life and a healthy planet matter more.
